Samsung Dart to land at T-Mobile on June 15th

about 3 hours ago - No comments

A USA-tweaked and T-Mobile-branded version of the Samsung Galaxy Mini should be available starting June 15th in the form of the Samsung Dart, according to the document you see above. This affordable Android phone may be perfect for first-time smartphone users that don?t want to shell out the big bucks for something like the Sensation 4G. This budget phone will offer up some modest features but should still be a decent experience for those who don?t demand the most from their devices. While we?re not sure on all of the specifications, we can expect the Dart to ship with a 3 megapixel camera, 3G support, 2GB microSD card, Bluetooth and Swype pre-installed . With no mention of WiFi on board, the Dart will may be a data-only device, but let?s hope not. The Dart should ship with Android 2.2 and support Adobe Flash , which makes us wondering what processor this tiny handset is using, as Flash requires a slightly beefy CPU to run smoothly. Either way, the Dart won?t be aimed at power users, so the addition of Flash is just a small perk for this entry-level Android handset. Expected to debut on June 15th, the Dart will certainly be eclipsed by the much-anticipated Sensation 4G that?s set to land on the same day. While pricing has yet to be announced, we couldn?t imagine that the device will run higher than $100 on a new contract, if not cheaper. We may also see the Samsung Smart and Exhibit 4G debut on the 15th, but that still remains to be seen. If you still have a feature phone in your pocket and are looking to upgrade to a smartphone without breaking the bank, the Samsung Dart may be right up your alley. Anyone thinking of upgrading to this tiny Android phone when it lands? [Via: TMONews ]
