Micromax, the cheapest Android smartphone maker has brought up one more Android smartphone for the Android fans. Micromax A25 Smarty is the cheapest Android smartphone priced at just Rs. 3,999. The device looks quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone. Powered by a 1 GHz Processor, the device runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread Operating System. It sports a 2.8 inches capacitive touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels screen resolution and 256K color support. It is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) handset with Dual Standby.
The A25 Smarty includes 256 MB RAM along with 512 MB of internal memory (120 MB user memory). The memory can be expanded via a memory card slot, which supports a memory card of up to 32 GB. The 1280 mAh battery provides up to 4 hours of talk time along with up to 180 hours Standby. The device is 13 mm thick and weighs around 102 grams. It is also equipped with 1.3 megapixel fixed focus camera at the back.
This Micromax gadget supports 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and has Micro USB port along with a 3.5mm audio jack. It has also been preloaded with Hookup Instant messaging app. The A25 Smarty is already available from online retailer Saholic with a price tag of just Rs. 3,899. The device can be bought from other online retailers like Croma, Flipkart as well. It will also be available at the retail stores across India.
